Mr. Walter C. Copeland, 72, of Waterbury, lost his fight for life on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at Abbott Terrace Nursing Home.

Mr. Copeland was born in Waterbury, CT, August 20, 1947 a son to the late Isaac and Carrie (Gardner) Copeland Sr.

Walter was educated in the Waterbury School System and was also employed in Waterbury.

He leaves to cherish his memories four brothers; Edward (Muriel) Copeland of Naugatuck, Henry and Eric Copeland of Waterbury, and Alan (Kelly) Copeland of Naugatuck, three sisters; Veney Fisher of FL, Caroline (Steven) Rogers of Waterbury, Gail Knight of New Haven. Two aunts; Elese Jones of Waterbury and Bertha Jackson of MD, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. We will all feel the loss of this gentle, talented, kind man's presence.
