Mr. Walter David Andrews, 90, of Waterville St, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 19, 2020, at his home surrounded, by his loving family. He was the widower of Pallis (Reeder) Andrews.

Mr. Andrews was born on February 19, 1930 in Richland, North Carolina, a son to the late Walter and Mary Alice (Ward) Andrews.

Walter was educated in the North Carolina Public School System and later moved to Waterbury, CT., where he resided until his passing. He was employed at Uniroyal for 13 ½ years and Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 27 ½ years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, barbecuing, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He was a longtime member of Zion Baptist Church in Waterbury, CT. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory two sons; Colin Andrews and Martina Andrews both of Waterbury, eight grandchildren, great-grandchildren, six sisters in-law; Pearlie Andrews, Ammie Piland, Ora L. Andrews, and Betty Heyward all of Waterbury, Clara Andrews of Maysville, North Carolina, and Ida Reeder of Philadelphia, PA, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Walter was predeceased by daughters; Amy Celeste Moore and Germaries Andrews, son; Harvey Andrews, brothers; Paul Andrews, Earnest Andrews, William Andrews, Norman Andrews, Monroe Franks, sisters; Laura Chapman and Carena Harris.
