Mr. Savion Delante Botic-Aponte, 20, of Waterbury, died tragically, Saturday, January 28, 2017.

Savion was born November 11, 1996 in Waterbury. He was the son of Eleuterio and Ana Maria Porrata Burgos Aponte of Waterbury.

He was educated in the Waterbury public school system where he attended Bunker Hill Elementary and West Side Middle School. Savion worked as a maintenance engineer at Diamond Court CT, LLC. He loved the Lord and attended Mission Cantra Murallas where he played the drums and performed spiritual mimes. In his spare time he loved to play Xbox and write music, draw and play cards. He hated the beach and the sun even though he visited Puerto Rico for family vacations. Savion was a loving young man who cared about others and more times than not, more than himself. He had an amazing sense of humor. Whenever you saw him, he would always have a smile on his face. Savion will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Besides his parents he leaves sister, Rebecca Ruiz and brother Omar Aponte both of Waterbury, biological parents, Patricia Bostic of Waterbury and Jeffrey Thomas Sr. of VA, siblings Tyrice D. Thomas, Shatrice M. Ricketts, Stewart Damon, Josiah Hunter, Lashana Hunter, Ronaldess Parker and Michaela Parker all of Waterbury, several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by brother, Jeffrey M. Thomas Jr.
