Ms. Rosa Antoinette Blash, 31 of Gilbert Lane, Branford, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, July 5, 2020.

Ms. Blash was born September 11, 1988, in Waterbury, CT, a daughter to Winonna Blash of Waterbury, CT and Anthony Lawson of Atlanta, TX.

"Rosie", as she was known as, was educated in the Waterbury Public School System, graduating from Kennedy High School. After High School, she attended The College of New Rochelle in NY. Rosie was employed at Yale Animal Resources Center (YARC) in New Haven, where she worked as a Lab Technician. She was passionate about animals and enjoyed working and volunteering at Pet Stores and Animal Shelters. She had an undeniable passion for the arts and became Fire Performer and Acrylic Artist. Over the years, her performances and artistic creations were appreciated by many of her family and friends. Ultimately, Rosie will be remembered for her jubilant spirit, infectious smile, and amazing hugs.

Besides her parents, she leaves to cherish her memories, three siblings; Vernon (Jessica) Blash of Waterbury, Tawanna (Rodney) Thomas of Lansing, KS, and Kandice (Reginald) Alexander of Pottstown, PA, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, a very close friend; Jesse Lopez, and a host of friends.
She is predeceased by maternal grandparents; Jimmie Lee and Winifred (Gatling) Blash Sr., and Paternal Grandparents; Otis and Rose (Henry) Lawson.

In keeping with Rosa's Pagan faith, we close with the following:

"I release myself from those who have left this plane and let them walk the blessed gardens of Summerland."
