Mr. Reginald R. Jones, 51, of Eastern Ave, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Reginald was born January 30, 1967 in Brooklyn, NY a son to Eleanor (Reid) Jones of Waterbury and the late Rev. Dr. Cade Jones lll.

He was educated in the NY school system where he was a 1985 graduate of Central Islip High School. Reginald played little league softball and baseball. Pretty Ricky as he was known by all attended Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church where he was a Junior Deacon. He obtained a certificate in Culinary Art and worked as a cook in NY before becoming employed by Walgreens Warehouse where he worked until his health began to fail. At the age of 30 Reginald began dialysis where he received treatments for 21 years. During his treatments he met many friends who shared the same journey where they would talk and play card games. Ricky was an avid die hard Dallas Cowboy and NY Yankee fan. He was a funny person who enjoyed laughter and making those around him smile. Reginald was a very giving loving person with a strong faith and love of the Lord. His family meant the world to him and he loved them dearly. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Besides his loving mother, he leaves his only beloved sister; Venus Jones, nephew; Jerome Jones, niece; Shadora Jones all of Waterbury, a host of cousins, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his fiancé; Freda Smith.
