Mr. Paul Anthony Brett, 61, of Abbott Terrace, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019, at Waterbury Hospital.

Mr. Brett was born in London, England, on December 23, 1957 to the late Lloyd and Violet (Pitkin) Brett, the 2nd of their 4 children.

"P Paul" as he was affectionately called, along with his family, migrated to Jamaica in 1967. He attended Mico Practising School in 1968, and The College of Arts Science and Technology in Electronics for 2 years. Paul was employed in The Post and Telegraph department of the Post office for a number of years. He was baptized in the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Jamaica. Although Paul was born with Sickle Cell Anemia and was very ill during his life, he didn't allow this to stop him from living his life amidst his circumstance. He was a very sociable and friendly person despite his illness. He loved music and his favorite meal was curried goat with rice. Paul loved his family and was very protective of his sisters. He became more protective when his older brother Michael migrated to the USA. The last 6 years of his life were filled with pain and frustration as he developed more medical complications. Paul was constantly in and out of the hospital and when his body could bear no more, he went to sleep. He will be missed by all.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Ricardo, brother; Michael Brett, sister; Janet Brett-Byfield, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by sister, Carole Marie Brett.
