Ms. Patricia (Trish) Ann Byrd, 55 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly, December 16, 2018.

Ms. Byrd was born March 22, 1963, in Waterbury, to the late Calvin Byrd and the late Jannette (Lewis) Byrd.

Trish as she was so lovingly called by close friends and family was educated in the Waterbury Public School system and graduated from Kennedy High School. She worked as a teacher's assistant at Muriel Moore Early Childhood Development. Ms. Pat was CPR certified and has an award for working over 10 years of service at New Opportunities. She was a lifetime member of Zion Baptist Church. She loved doing puzzles, washing her animals, decorating, and playing with her grandchildren and was a mother figure to all the children in the community. She was a loving, caring, kind woman and was young at heart.

She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters Nitka Byrd, Monique Byrd, Michelle Byrd and Raven Byrd all of Waterbury, her grand children Prince Munn, and Matthew Diaz Jr. Byrd of Waterbury, and a host of brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, and friend. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sherrel Byrd and 5 siblings.
