Mrs. Marian Collazo, 54, of Waterbury, passed away, unexpectedly, on Sunday, September 1, 2019. She was the wife of Mr. Luciano Lizardo.

Mrs. Collazo was born in Springfield, IL, on September 26, 1964 to Carmen Vasquez and the late Alfredo Collazo.

She was educated in the Springfield Public School System. She also attended and graduated from American College of Puerto Rico, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Mirian met, fell in love and married Luciano. They were together for 32 years. A fond memory of when they first met was Marian not being a great cook. The only thing she knew how to cook was macaroni and cheese and to this day, Luciano will not eat it. Mirian was a great woman that was full of love and life. She enjoyed watching movies with her daughter and spending time with her only grandchild, Alexander. She was a very helpful woman and was always laughing, so full of life, smart, encouraging, and a positive person. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Besides her husband of 14 years, she leaves to cherish her memories one son Christian Lizardo, one daughter Yesenia Lizardo, both of Waterbury, one sister and two brothers all of Puerto Rico.

She is predeceased by two sisters.
