Mr. Lycell Johnson Jr., 49, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 4, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Johnson was born September 1, 1969, in Waterbury a son to Mr. Lycell Johnson Sr. of Waterbury and the late Willistine (Stevenson) Johnson.

Fatboy as he was lovingly called by family and close friends was educated in the Waterbury public school system. He worked various jobs in the area. He loved being surrounded by his family and having a good time, whether just laughing and cracking jokes or reminiscing about the old days. He was bestowed his nickname by his big sister Reese as the "Fatbaby" and as time went on became "Fatboy", because he ate like a Fatboy. He was very protective of his family, especially the girls and was an avid Jets fan.

Lycell leaves to cherish his memory his father Lycell Johnson, Sr. (Beulah), sons Dominique Johnson and Joshua Santiago both of Ocala, FL, four grandchildren, Joylyn, Tayzeon, Malikia and Jaikeya, his aunt Deborah Johnson, three sisters Solveig (Darrell) Blathers, Terri Johnson, Tamara (Chris) Totten, brother Derrick (Jodi) Johnson and stepsister Phylisha Coles, seven nieces Bernadette, S'ri, Giovanna, Gelena, Roshana, J'Kara and Eboni, two nephews Augustus and Jamal, as well as a host of cousins, family, friends and a special friend. He was predeceased by younger brother Jamal "Rooster" Johnson, maternal grandmother Georgia (Stevenson) Waiters, and his maternal grandfather Henry B. McCoy.
