Ms. Lakisha Diane Williams, 38, formerly of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, March 22, 2019 at her home.

Lakisha was born May 30, 1980 in Waterbury, a daughter to Cynthia Pittman of Waterbury and Ricky Harper of Bridgeport, CT.

She was educated in the Waterbury public school system where she attended St. Ann grammar school. She relocated to Emporia, VA. for a brief time where she attended Greenville Middle School. Lakisha returned to Waterbury and attended Wilby High School graduating as a National Honor Society inductee. She was employed at various companies working with disabled adults. As a young child, she enjoyed fishing with her grandfather. Lakisha had a great sense of humor with a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh that would light up a room. She loved socializing with family and friends and had a passion for music and singing.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her long time partner, Thomas Pike of Waterbury, one daughter; TahJae' Pike, two sons; TahJir and TaSyrus Pike, stepfathers; Fred Stephenson, Byron Pittman, both of Waterbury two sisters; Shanita (Darion) Dwyer, Tachell Jones both of Waterbury, two brothers; Ricky Harper Jr. of Waterbury, Steven Pina of Bensalem, PA, maternal grandparents Henry and Inez Williams of Emporia VA., two honorary siblings, Darius Stallings, Amanda Stallings both of Waterbury, several aunts, uncles, three nephews, two nieces, a host of cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Gladys and Lewis Harper.
