Miss. Kamisha Billingsley, 43, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Feb 27, 2017 at New Britain Memorial Hospital.

Miss Billingsley was born September 25, 1973 in Waterbury a daughter to Anthony Rucker of Waterbury and the late Doris Billingsley.

"Misha" as she was affectionately known was educated in the Waterbury public school system graduating from Kennedy High School. After graduating, she attended Central Connecticut State University where she was assistant manager to the girls' basketball team. She relocated to Virginia where she worked for Bank of America as a customer service consultant for many years. After returning to Waterbury where she resided until her passing, Misha was a member of the women bowling & softball team. She enjoyed golfing and watching The Food Network Channel. She would often travel to visit friends and family. Misha was a vibrant and social woman with a wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed and loved forever by her family and friends.

Besides her father, she leaves her step mother Pamela Rucker, two sisters; Lachelle (Cyrell) Myers, Ahryana Rucker, one brother; Anthony (Jessica) Johnson, eight aunts; Barbara Weaver, Jeanette Powell, Carol Hurdle, Georgette Billingsley, Rita Billingsley, Valerie Billingsley, Elizabeth Hing, Sylvia Dickerson of Middletown, CT, two uncles; Melvin Weaver, Larry (Janelle) Rucker of Cerritos, CA, five nieces; Shanelle, Janelle, and Brielle Myers, Alexus and Alijah Johnson, one nephew: Jeremiah Johnson, a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
