Mr. Jose F. Pena 61, of Willow Street, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. He was the husband of Carmen Pena of Davenport, FL.

Mr. Pena was born February 3, 1958 in Dominican Republic to Carmen Pena of DR and the late Jose Pena.

Jose was educated in the Waterbury Public School System and graduated from Wilby High School. He was employed as a meter reader at CL&P/Eversource for over 30 years. He had a love for guns and playing pool in his spare time. His passion was telling stories about his life in Dominican Republic to anyone that listened, and loved to tell jokes.

Besides his wife, he leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Jarret Pena of California, a daughter Olga Marie of Florida, a sister Olga Delcarmen, a grandson Jayden Pena, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
