Mr. Johnny Lee Caldwell Sr., 68, of Southview Street, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday July 7, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital.

Johnny was born June 3, 1951 in Covington, AL a son of the late Lamar and Berta Mae (McBride) Caldwell.

He was educated in the AL school system before relocating to Connecticut at the age of 17. He worked at American Brass in Ansonia for over 10 years before moving to Waterbury where he resided until his passing. He then worked at Land Jet Bus Company for many years. Johnny loved to visit both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun in his free time. He loved to dress and was always well put together. His children were number one to him and he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory, Johnny Caldwell Jr., Michael Caldwell and Denise Caldwell, seven grand children; Makayla, Keymiah, Royale, Kareem, Lilly Mae, Asiah, Alajea, brothers; Lamar Caldwell Jr., Rayshon Caldwell, Winston Caldwell, Joseph Charles Caldwell, McDuffiel Caldwell, sister Clara Mae Henderson, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by brother, Raymond Caldwell and the mother of his children Sharon Henry.
