Mr. James Thomas Stallings, 57, of Middletown, CT, formerly of Waterbury passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Stallings was born October 12, 1959 in Gatesville, NC a son to Loden and Ethel (White) Stallings of Waterbury.

He was educated in the Waterbury public school system where he attended Crosby High School. In his earlier years he had been employed by IGC. In Waterbury, The Republican-American Newspaper and the Waterbury Housing Authority. James served in the National Guard for many, many years. He loved the Lord and attended various churches in Waterbury and most recently in Middletown, where he resided until his passing. He was the most loving and caring person. His kindness was extended beyond his family. He would help any-one who was in need. James was a stylish dresser who loved fashion and looking his best. In his free time he enjoyed reading and drawing and telling his famous stories. He loved his family and friends deeply and loved spending time with them. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Besides his parents, he is survived by children; Jamie Humphrey, Kelvin Humphrey, Antwon Brown, Sharde Stallings and Jamal Brown, siblings:
Larry Stallings, Herman Stallings, Gennie Thompson, Randy Stallings, Geraldine West, Juanita Stallings, Billy Stallings, Carolyn Stallings, Michelle Stallings and Tylesha Stallings, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
