Mr. Howard Roscoe, Jr. 86, of Waterbury, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020, at RegalCare at Waterbury.

Mr. Roscoe was born July 8, 1934 in Gatesville, NC., a son to the late Howard and Gladys (Winslow) Roscoe, Sr.

Howard was educated in the Gates County Public School System. He later relocated from NC and moved to Waterbury, where he met Jean Delois Love. The two were married in holy matrimony in 1955. He worked at various jobs including; Anaconda Brass, Scovill's, which later became Century Brass, Laurel estates, Dunkin Donuts, and lastly, Schmidts and Serafines True Value. Howard sought excellence in his work and was a hard worker. He was loving, kind, strong, and dedicated to his family and friends. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memories five children; Howard Roscoe III, John Roscoe, Valerie Roscoe all of Waterbury, Keith Roscoe of Delaware, and Nicole Roscoe of CT, grandchildren; Corey Roscoe, Jacey Bradshaw, Andre Roscoe, Aaron Roscoe, Jene Roscoe, Kalel Roscoe, Shayla Roscoe, Riyah Roscoe, Ezrah Roscoe, Selah Roscoe, Candice Davis and Rhianna Roscoe, five great grandchildren, ex-wife Jackie Goodwin of CT., and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his siblings; Louie, Dennis, Sylvester, Douglas, Virginia Bond, and Alice Freeman.

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time for sunrise; and a time for Sunset
Rest Well.
