Mr. Enrique Soto Valentin, 94, of Lakewood Road, a devoted husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct 7, 2018 at his home. He was the husband to Luz Ramirez.

He was born on Sept 20, 1924 in Hatillo, PR a son of the late Inocencio and Ricarda (Valentin) Soto.

"Chago" as he was known, grew up spending his younger years in Puerto Rico. At the age of 19 he served the US Army in World War II as a infantry soldier. He took great pride in serving our country and shared many stories in the military. Building and working in labor is no easy task, but for Enrique it was a passion and talent which led him to become a carpenter in his life. He always wanted to fix things, cars and anything he could get his hands on. He loved to play dominoes and attend church. He was a happy, giving, caring person who loved his children and grandchildren.

Besides his wife of 20 years, Luz Ramirez, he leaves five children; Nydia Soto, Arnaldo Soto, Wilson Soto, Laura Soto, Doris Soto, Edwin Soto, Nancy Soto with his first wife, Inez Hernandez Mora. He was a great man of faith who will be greatly missed by his loved ones and those who knew him. He was predeceased by one daughter Evelyn Soto and one son Andy Soto.
