Miss Donna C. Stevenson, 46 of Garden Circle in Waterbury passed away unexpectedly at her home Friday, January 26, 2018.

She was born March 29, 1971 in Waterbury to Pauline E. Stevenson of Waterbury and the late Donald L. Stevenson.

Donna attended Sacred Heart Grammar School. Amongst attending Notre Dame Academy; she graduated from Wilby High School as a President of the National Honors Society in 1989. Donna was the epitome of a prodigy. To further her education she enrolled into the University of Connecticut in Storrs. Donna liked to learn new things and education was very important to her. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church as a youth she ushered and sang in the choir. She often kept herself busy with work. Donna obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant License and worked many years for USPS while pursuing her LPN from Kaynor Technical School. She graduated from Kaynor having high honors as #2 in her class. Being able to have the ability to work in the nursing field for over twenty years; Donna touched lives and cared for the many people she met. She wasn't the type of person to be judgmental. She was very kind hearted and would help and care for anyone she could. She built a very positive reputation as "the woman that knew everyone". Even in her illness she still took time out to show her compassion for people. She loved her family unconditionally. The love she had for her daughter Jayda was unremarkable and abundant. She enjoyed family functions and spending time with them. She will be missed by all that knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughter; Jayda Chantelle Leak, her mother Mrs. Pauline Stevenson, two sisters; Pauline "Paulina" Stevenson, Daneen Henry, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins , extended family including the Padgett, Skipwith, Rascoe, Diaz and Maldonado families and a host of friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Zahria Chantelle Allen-Stevenson.
