Mr. Craine Lamont Alford, 54, of Waterbury, departed this life unexpectedly January 11, 2017.

He was born August 11, 1962 in Waterbury a son to the proud parents, Raymond James and Ola Mae (Young) Alford.

Craine was educated in the Waterbury public school system where he excelled academically. He was a jack of all trades and practiced his entrepreneurial skills in the area for most of his life. He was the funniest person known to many. His gentle demeanor endeared him to those who surrounded him. Did you know he was an honor student while in school? Having said that, he DID run away barefoot in the ice cold winter from a home visiting truant officer. I've never known him to be ungenerous and I hope I've been generous in plauding his importance to so many lives.

He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Cappella, brother Ryan O'Neil Alford, sister Ramona "Pinky" Alford Greene, nieces; Sherry Marquita Layne and Cherelle Greene, nephew Guy Garrison Greene II, grand nephew; Jvonne Greene, grand niece; Jessica Greene, several cousins, etended family and friends. Craine was preceded in death by brothers Gary Cassell and Mark. Craine was a son, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He always proclaimed to be a momma's boy, well mommy's waiting to embrace her son. Love you and will miss you, my beloved brother, Craine. FAREWELL
