Mrs. Corrine Joan (Crockett) Wade, 79, of Lincoln Street, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020, at Beacon Brook Health Center in Naugatuck. She was the widow of Ronald Cecil Wade.

Mrs. Wade was born January 25, 1941 in Laurel DE, a daughter to the late William and Yancy (Cottman) Stewart.

"Nanna", as she was also known as, was educated in the Laurel Public School System. She was employed at Campbell Soup Company and Timex Company for many years. She enjoyed having an early morning cup of coffee, reading the newspaper, playing cards (especially Pitty Pat) and crossword puzzles. Her home was often the place for family and friends to gather for holidays, family functions, and her famous Sunday dinners. "Nanna" was loved by so many people and will be greatly missed. We will never forget her and she will forever be in our hearts.

She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters; Carol Wade and Collette Hill both of Waterbury, four grandchildren; Edward Walton 3rd, Erik Walton, Elise Walton-Dillard, Justice Walker, several great grandchildren including the oldest, Shayla Nichols, who held a special place in her heart.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter; Charlotte Stewart, grandchildren; Kendal Wade and Jennifer Stewart, and siblings; Connie Elzey, Barbara Gleen, Sedonia Boon, Emogene Stewart Custis, Helen Stewart Holden, Ann L. Stewart Armstrong, Ethel Stewart Griffin, William A. Stewart, and Alfonzo Stewart.
