Miss. Cecelia Shonta Banks, 30, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, October 14, 2017.

Cecelia was born December 2, 1986 in Waterbury a daughter to Robin Banks and Edward P. Ellis Sr. both of Waterbury.

Cecelia was educated in the Waterbury public school system graduating from Crosby High School Class of 2005. She was a 2006 graduate of Stone Academy and was currently employed by Ear Nose and Throat Specialists of Connecticut. Cecelia was a very loving and caring mother and always made sure her children knew how much she loved them. They were the center of her life. Singing, Dancing, Cooking and Baking were some of the things that she enjoyed. Baking was her favorite, especially with her children. Not only did she enjoy it, she was amazing at it. She had aspirations of opening her own bakery. Cecelia was family orientated and loved family gatherings. She always orchestrated family birthday's, baby showers and all other events. Cecelia was outgoing, silly, spunky kind hearted and always spoke her mind. She was an amazing young woman who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents and step mother, Aubra (Jean) Ellis, she leaves to cherish her memory one daughter; Lovelee R. Cintron, one son; Michael T. Oliver, four brothers; Kevin T. Banks, Shannon (Maria) Ellis, Thomas P. Banks, Edward "PJ" Ellis Jr., one sister; JaTarra "Tara" Ellis, maternal grandmother; Virginia Banks, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and her boyfriend Justin Aurora.
