Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Much More.

Ms. Carrie Lou Porter, 76, of Neill Street, passed away Sunday October 1, 2017 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Carrie was born July 13, 1941 in Union Springs, Alabama, a daughter to the late Naomi Bryant Harris and Willie Lee Campbell.

She was educated in the Alabama school system before relocating to Connecticut in 1963. She was a retired inspector for General Motors New Departure and also a member of The Flaming Knights Motorcycle Club "Power House". She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, sharing her undeniable sense of humor.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters; Jacqualynn (Jasper) Woodson, Sharon (Darrell) Jones both of Waterbury, Brenda Porter of Tuskegee, Alabama, brothers; Willie Campbell and Arthur (Carrie) Lark both of Tuskegee, Alabama, sisters; Minnie Pearl Williams Of Tuskegee, Alabama, Rosemary Stewart of Tampa, Florida, and Dina (Lark) Gallop of Waterbury, eight grand children, twenty-three great grand children, several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her son Henry Campbell, grand daughter Karisa Porter and three sisters Martha (Lark) Maynard, Elizabeth Lark, and Margaret (Lark) Boglin.
