Ms. Carol Ann Williams, 71, of Prospect, CT., transitioned on Saturday February 2, 2019 after a long illness.

Mrs. Williams was born September 2, 1947, in Baltimore MD. She was the daughter of the late Dawson and Erma Lyles Savage Kerr, (Ellwood Savage).

Carol Graduated from Crosby High School in 1966 and went on to obtain her CNA license, beginning her tenure at St Mary's Hospital, and advancing to Mattatuck Health Care Facility, on Cliff St., where she worked for over 20 years. She was very devoted to her patients.
She was a long time member of Zion Baptist Church here in Waterbury for over 20 years.
After becoming a member of Clock City Temple #895, IPBOE of W, she received the highest honors as Past Grand Daughter Ruler. Throughout her decades of membership she served in various capacities of Elkdom. Carol was Directress of New England States and Eastern Canada Assoc. Daughters of Elks Poster child Department, serving in this capacity for numerous years for which she was awarded Directress of the Year, for her service. She had many friends in and out of the state and was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and devoted friend. Her quiet spirit, amazing heart and infectious smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carol Ann is survived by three grandchildren, Ebine Nordby, Kashanda Dozier, Jamar White, five great grandchildren, six loving siblings: Louis (Patricia) Savage of Baltimore, MD, Connie V. Pope, Leonard (Cheryl) Savage, Richard (Susan) Savage, all of Waterbury, Ronald (Yvette) Savage of Port Saint Lucie, FL., Angela (Kent Foster) Ford of Naugatuck, Carol's very special friend and love for many years, Sylvester Watts, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. She was predeceased by her two boys, Mark and Clarence "Junnie", whom she loved and adored. Carol's Motto: "If I can't help you I won't hurt you. I'll do what I can to HELP!"
