Mr. Bruce Bunn, 55, of Danbury, CT passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Danbury Hospital.

Bruce was born July 29, 1963 in Danbury a son to Annie (Wilkins) Bunn of Brookfield, CT and the late Herman Bunn.

Mr. Bunn was educated in both the Danbury and Brookfield school system graduating from Brookfield High School. After graduating he worked as a custodian at Whisconier Middle School in Brookfield. He also worked for Fairfield Processing and most recently Memry Corp where he manufactured stents for heart patients until his passing. This job was near and dear to him. Bruce was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and looked forward to the annual Labor Day trip to NC. Bruce enjoyed watching his favorite teams, The New York Giants and The New York Knicks. "Fatback" as he was affectionately known, was a happy go lucky, humorous man who loved his snacks. His favorite saying was "Let it Go". He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, he leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters; Marilyn Knight, Althea Bunn both of Danbury, two brothers; Angelo Bunn of Brookfield, CT, Bernard Bunn of Meriden, CT, three aunts; Lillie Mae Taylor of Rocky Mount, NC, Carrie (Harvey) Anderson of Danbury, Carolyn (Joseph) Purvis of Bethel, NC, four uncles; Sterling (Annie) Bunn of Bethel, NC, Zachary Bunn of Greenville, NC, Charles Cooper, Richard Cooper both of Danbury, three special aunts; Faye Bunn of Danbury, Mary S. Purvis, and Mary F. Bunn both of Bethel, NC, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by one brother; Herman Bunn.
