Agnes Marie Arline of 150 Manhan Street was born in Gates County, North Carolina on January 9, 1937, to the late Junious and Virginia (Freeman) Arline. On Wednesday, October 11, 2017, she transitioned to be with the Lord.
Ms. Arline was employed by and retired from Airpac. Agnes was the "cook" in the family and it was her pleasure to prepare an old fashioned meal, seasoned to perfection, for anyone at any time. Her first love was singing, and you could always recognize that strong alto voice that surely caused the angels in heaven to pause and listen. She was a member of the Mount Olive AME Zion Gospel Chorus and her presence will be missed.
She leaves to mourn her passing, two sisters, Larsine Arline of Waterbury, CT and Dr. Althea Riddick of Gatesville, North Carolina, two sisters-in-law; Leaner Elosie Arline, and Felicia Arline of Waterbury, CT., and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Wendell Arline, Dallas Arline; and three sisters, Ida Dildy, Nancy Arline and Delphine Arline.
