Ada Irma Alvarado, 71, of West Main Street, passed away, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Abbott Terrace Health Care surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 3, 1946 daughter of the late Pablo Alvarado and Juana Rodriguez.

Irma as she was called by all was such an amazing woman that was so full of life. She was always happy and always had a smile on her face. The grin on her face was the cutest thing. Everyone loved her kind heart and gentle spirit. Irma loved to play her music and dance. She would drink her coffee in the morning and listen to her favorite radio station "Bomba". Irma enjoyed spending time with her family and entertaining company and didn't like being alone. Above all she was an amazing mother who loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was the rock of the family and she will be missed so very much. We are all sad and deeply hurt knowing that she is gone to heaven but she will always be in our hearts.

She leaves two daughters; Virgen Alvarado and Grisela Alvarado both of Waterbury, three sons; Hector Maldonado of Rochester NY, Miguel Alvarado and Adam Alvarado both of Waterbury, three sisters; Lydia Alvarado, Julia Alvarado of Brooklyn, NY and Elena Alvarado of Salinas, PR, five brothers; Nelson Alvarado, Edwin Alvarado both of NY,NY, Julio Alvarado of Salinas, PR, Pablo Alvarado and Fermín Rodriguez, twenty seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
