Tribute & Message From The Family

Message From The Family

Thank you for your support during this difficult time. Please enhance this tribute to Paul by adding your memories and photos.

Mr. Paul E. Gladding, Sr., 66, of Meriden Rd, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020, at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Mrs. Janice (Robinson) Gladding.

Paul was born March 6, 1954 in Waterbury, CT, a son to the late Louis and Jean (Lathrop) Gladding.

Mr. Gladding was educated in the Waterbury public school system graduating from Crosby High School. After high school, he worked for General Electric before becoming employed by Southbury Training School where he worked for many years. He enjoyed fishing, family gatherings, relaxing at home. He absolutely loved and adored his wife, children, and grandchildren. Paul was always willing to lend a helping hand and his altruistic personality led him to always put others first. He will be remembered for his selflessness, kind heart, and positive energy. Paul fought a good fight, kept the faith, and is now resting in the arms of God. He will be missed by all that loved and knew him.

Besides his lovely wife of 45 years, he leaves to cherish his memories, four children; Tremayne (Porsha) Gladding, Talisha (Kevin) Gladding DeGroate, Paul (Ebony) Gladding Jr., and Michael Gladding, one brother; Thomas Gladding, eleven grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Royal Gladding.
