The Fryer family would like to thank you for your support during this difficult time.

Mr. Robert W. Fryer, 56, of Houston TX (formerly of Waterbury)., passed away unexpectedly, on Monday, January 6, 2020, at Wolcott View Manor.

Robert was born in Newburgh, NY, on February 27, 1963, a son to Patricia M. Fryer of Waterbury, CT and Robert E. Fryer of Utica, NY.

Mr. Fryer became a member of Zion Baptist Church at an early age and also attended and graduated from Crosby High School in Waterbury. He then became the manager of the boys' basketball team for four years and enjoyed every bit of it. Robert worked various jobs including General Data Com in Waterbury and in Houston he had many jobs in the field of catering, carpentry. He had a passion for the Berkeley Knights drill team and they were never far from his heart no matter where he lived. He had a great love for cooking, basketball, and traveling. "Fryer" as he was mostly known as, was a friend for life. He knew people near and far and would always call to check up on them. Once you meet him, you became a friend for life. He will be missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories a son Daryl McNeil of Waterbury, CT., Nicole and Patricia Fryer of Raleigh NC, and Kariyana Fryer of Houston, TX, three grandchildren; Natasia, Duron, and Harmony McNeil, three sisters; Jacquetta (Heaton) Fryer-Percell of Hartford, CT, Crystal Fryer of Atlanta, GA, and Deneen Fryer of Waterbury, CT, a nephew Samuel Cummings Jr., a niece Sharnice Cummings both of Hartford, CT, aunts; Deloris Merritt, Leslie Patterson, Antoinette McMillan, and Nancy Faison of Newburgh, NY, Carrie Harris of New Haven, CT, and Julia Faison of Charlotte, NC, three uncles; Joseph Royal of Middletown, NY, Timothy Faison of Overland, KS, and Jerry Faison of Albany, NY.

He was predeceased by grandparents Lucille M. and Denzel Cole, Lillie Mae Faison, and Lord Royal, Aunt Delores Cole, and Uncle Ernest Royal.
